A unique, interdisciplinary show by director Luc Petit
From 17 July to 16 August 2026, the grounds of Beloeil Castle will be transformed into a lush and mysterious jungle for ‘The Jungle Book’, an immersive show directed by Luc Petit, loosely based on the work of Rudyard Kipling.
What secrets will be revealed as you wander through the park’s paths?
Will you cross paths with the wise Bagheera, the carefree Baloo or the fearsome Shere Khan?
Will you dare to follow Mowgli on his journey of discovery into the heart of the jungle, where nature reigns supreme?
Pass through spectacular settings, overgrown with vegetation and enhanced by breathtaking lighting, fire and pyrotechnic effects.
Between poetry, adventure and thrills, learn the law of the jungle, listen to the songs of the animals and let yourself be carried away by an epic tale where man and nature observe, challenge and sometimes tame each other.
Come and discover how, with the help of a hundred artists—actors, acrobats, dancers and fire jugglers—Luc Petit will immerse you in a living, vibrant and untameable jungle, in the very heart of the Château de Beloeil park.

Beloeil Castle, the little ‘Belgian Versailles’
For several years now, the Princes of Linge have been making their sumptuous Beloeil estate available for Luc Petit’s shows. We are very grateful to them, as the beauty of these French gardens (whose architecture dates back to 1664), with their harmonious blend of ponds and greenery, contributes to the unique atmosphere of these walking shows, which really come to life in this magnificent setting.
Owned by the Princes of Linge since the 14th century, the fully furnished château houses numerous collections (furniture, books, paintings, porcelain, etc.) and a remarkable library containing more than 20,000 volumes. The French garden, a harmonious blend of water and greenery, shade and light, covers 25 hectares. It is faithfully maintained in keeping with its original design, which dates back to 1664.
Meet the show's scriptwriter:
Jean-Louis Godet
After Little Red Riding Hood, Pinocchio, Peter Pan, Around the World in 80 Days and Alice in Wonderland, Jean-Louis Godet has adapted Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book at Beloeil Castle for Luc Petit.
Working with director Luc Petit and the Nocturnales team, his role was to adapt the novel into a story that would keep audiences on the edge of their seats with twists and turns brought to life by mischievous actors, aerial dancers, daredevil acrobats and sometimes clumsy magicians in a life-size set.
